The MDVR-ALG-8CH-2TB-QD-SI-VHUU is an enclosed 8-channel DVR system that allows operators to connect up to eight cameras for recording and video storage. The included 2TB hard drive offers ample storage space for recorded footage. The weatherproof enclosure on the MDVR-ALG-8CH-2TB-QD-SI-VHUU is rated NEMA 3R and the eight twist lock camera connection receptacles feature waterproof covers. The MDVR-ALG-8CH-2TB-QD-SI-VHUU can be used with a variety of cameras offered by Larson Electronics including solar powered security cameras and explosion proof analog cameras.
The MDVR-ALG-8CH-2TB-QD-SI-VHUU offers operators the ability to connect up to eight analog cameras to the unit via eight L21-20A twist lock receptacles with waterproof covers. Within the unit, eight signal invertors allow the analog signal to be carried over standard copper wire without having to use coaxial cable. This allows operators to use SOOW cable for connecting analog cameras instead.

The MDVR-ALG-8CH-2TB-QD-SI-VHUU also features an array of additional ports including one LAN network port to plug this unit into existing networks, one VGA female port for plugging in remote monitors, one HDMI female port for plugging into remote TVs or HDMI displays and two USB ports, for external mouse and keyboard controls. This enclosed DVR system is also equipped with an on/off power switch to power cycle the unit. This portable DVR system also features a collection of powerful utilities designed to streamline and simplify the installation, set-up, and management of analog cameras.
The MDVR-ALG-8CH-2TB-QD-SI-VHUU is enclosed within a NEMA 3R rated weatherproof enclosure. The enclosure features a built-in carrying handle and an elevated base platform for protection against standing water. The weatherproof construction withstands direct water spray and wetness when the self sealing and weatherproof outlet covers are closed. The enclosure of the MDVR-ALG-8CH-2TB-QD-SI-VHUU has a powder coated finish in glossy blue.
